Candle Making

Step into the world of scent and creativity with our hands-on candle-making experience. In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll design and pour your very own soy candle using clean-burning soy wax, cotton wicks, and premium phthalate-free fragrance oils. With the option to blend up to two fragrance oils, you’ll create a candle that reflects your unique style and mood. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing evening, a fun outing with friends, or a new creative outlet, this class offers the perfect mix of learning and artistry.

In this class, you will learn the basics of candle making, including (but not limited to):

• How to measure and melt soy wax
• How to safely prepare jars and set cotton wicks
• How to blend fragrance oils for a custom scent
• How to pour and finish your candle

All supplies provided by Molten Makerspace. This class is open to all experience levels. Students under 15 must have a parent or guardian present. All students must wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Anyone who does not adhere to the dress code cannot participate in the class and will not be refunded. Note: Candle making is a creative process, and results will vary. Molten Makerspace LLC is not responsible for re-pours or replacements of student-made candles.
